Amadi Carpets approaches bold pattern design through an ethnographic sensibility in their Form & Function Collection.
Unity and integration are expressed with the use of transcultural motifs. This collection incorporates symbols from places across the globe, including Asia, Africa, and the Indigenous Americas. Each person may connect to these symbols differently based on their heritage and cultural understanding. The patterns used range from pictorial to abstract, yet they are all connected by their strong use of formal qualities: shape, space, colour, and form.
Made from natural fibres and ethically produced in Afghanistan.
